RIP - Daniel Ariel, our gardner, and his wife Heidi, lost their newborn son Daniel on Sunday morning. He was born at Children's Hospital in Panama City last week. There was a virus going through the newborns and there were 4 other deaths in a matter of days. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Ariel, Heidi, and Flor!

Joe Parker - RIP This morning while running in a race in El Valle we lost a great man in Joe Parker. He passed away doing what he loves to do....compete. He will be extremely missed by those who knew him. We count ourselves as being some of those lucky ones that have had their lives touched and blessed with him as a friend. Damned good soldier, even better of a friend. Sempre Fi Joe you will be missed!!

A simple bee sting can be life threatening here in PANAMA due to the distances between health care clinics, etc. If you have any allergies, especially to insects in PANAMA, don't take the chance of developing anaphylactic shock.
